This kit is intended for research purposes only. It is designed for the quantitative determination of danofloxacin residues in various biological and environmental samples, including feed, fish, shrimp, meat tissues (such as chicken, beef, and pork), serum, and urine. The method employed is a competitive ELISA assay. The microplate is pre-coated with danofloxacin antigen. When the sample or standard solution is added, free danofloxacin in the sample competes with the danofloxacin-conjugated antigen for binding to the specific antibody. After incubation, the enzyme-labeled antibody binds to the antigen-antibody complex. A TMB substrate is then added, causing a color change from blue to yellow upon addition of the stop solution. The absorbance is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the concentration of danofloxacin in the sample. By comparing the sample's absorbance to a standard curve, the exact concentration of danofloxacin can be accurately determined. This test provides a reliable and sensitive tool for monitoring drug residues in food and biological matrices.
