Roca2015PChouse Fashion Design Festival Launched in Shanghai Grand

The "Roca 2015 PChouse Fashion Design Festival" was officially launched on May 21, 2015, at the Roosevelt Mansion on the Shanghai Bund. Hosted by PChouse Pacific Home Network, in collaboration with PChouse Home Magazine, the China Building Decoration Association, and the Ciida Sino-Italian Innovation Design Association, the event was co-organized by Roca Lejia, Haier, Nippon, Fine Fine Furniture, and Allbright. The festival aimed to promote innovative design concepts and support local talent in the interior design industry. Guests arrived at the event, where they were interviewed by reporters and participated in various activities throughout the day. Roca's Business Development Manager, Fernando, delivered a speech highlighting the brand's commitment to supporting design excellence. Zhang Ship, Secretary-General of the China-Italy Design Federation, also shared insights on the importance of international collaboration in design. MARK Song, representing the design community, spoke about the future of interior design. This year’s festival introduced four major innovations: first, world-renowned design masters served as judges and lecturers; second, the competition criteria were more rigorous than ever, ensuring a higher level of professionalism; third, the “International Interior Designer Club” expanded its reach, offering greater exposure for participants; and fourth, the registration period was extended to attract more talented designers from across the country. Notable guests included Yu Zhendong, Editor-in-Chief of Pacific Home Network, Fernand from Roca China, Li Jikun from Haier Shanghai Small Micro Company, Song Huang from Fine Fine Furniture, and Caddie from Nippon. The event also attracted coverage from major media outlets such as ICS Shanghai TV, Sina, NetEase, Tencent, News Evening News, Morning News, Youth Daily, and Oriental Airlines. At the launch, Yu Zhendong expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating that the first edition had been a success and that the goal was to continue building brand influence while providing a better platform for designers. He added that top design masters and celebrities from fashion, business, and media would serve as judges for this year’s competition. During the opening ceremony, guests gathered around the “Energy Fountain” to celebrate the festival’s start. Photo sessions and press conferences took place, capturing the excitement of the event. Over the next six months, the official website of the PChouse Fashion Design Festival will serve as a platform to showcase top design ideas and outstanding works.
