Metal Residue Detector in Packaged Food Launched

International LockInspectionSystems has recently developed a new device for the detection of metal residues in packaged foods, the MET30+ high-frequency metal detector.

New food safety regulations require food producers to improve safety measures that safeguard food supplies. For conventional metal detectors, high-purity, high-impedance non-ferrous metals and stainless steel residues in foods are difficult to detect, especially when the food is wrapped in aluminum foil, which is more difficult to detect. The instrument has a high sensitivity for detecting such metal residues and can detect the presence of such metal substances in already packaged foods.

The newly developed detector is called MET30+ high frequency metal detector. It uses a pure UHF to effectively detect all kinds of dry foods after packaging, such as biscuits and baked goods, so that the product does not need to be opened for inspection, thus speeding up inspections. Save time and improve efficiency.

The MET30+ high-frequency metal detector incorporates Lock's patented ADC software. The various data signals detected by the metal detector are displayed on the screen. Any change in the signal can be immediately determined.
