Only when 3D printing delivers real value will people be eager to own a 3D printer. Once it becomes easy to download the source files for 3D printed items, this technology could become a regular part of everyday life. While it might take 5 to 10 years for this shift to fully happen, the pace of technological progress is accelerating. More innovative and practical 3D printing solutions are now appearing in our daily lives, making the future of 3D printing more promising than ever.
Many 3D printer manufacturers focus on improving hardware performance—making printers faster, more stable, and more advanced. However, MakerBot has taken a different approach by focusing on building a complete ecosystem. Their latest innovations include new hybrid materials, smart extruders, and a range of apps and software tools. Together, these elements form the "MakerBot ecosystem." The company understands that to attract non-technical users, they need not just better hardware, but also richer content and easier access to creative projects.
The bike designed by Manuel Leute, the European Product Management Director at MakerBot, was printed using three MakerBot Replicator 3D printers over 120 hours. The final product consists of 26 parts made from MakerBot’s PLA filament, available in black, white, red, and cool gray. Although the prototype had a 40% infill rate, MakerBot recommends increasing it to 50% or higher for improved strength. Additionally, the outer casings should be printed at a layer height of 0.2 mm to ensure better durability and structural integrity.
After printing, some components require minor polishing to fit together smoothly. Certain parts may need tools like a hammer to achieve a tighter assembly, ensuring the final product is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
BBQ gas regulator typically come equipped with an attached gas hose, which requires periodic inspection for cracks and damage, leakage. The regulator screws directly into the gas bottle whilst the gas hose is attached to the BBQ.
The regulator and hose assembly will deteriorate with age. Replacing it every 5 years, or should it becomes damaged, is good safety practice. With different standard of regulator for different countries, we have full range for you, and they are CE, CSA/UL approved.
