2015 Asia Outdoor Products Exhibition July Nanjing Opening Ceremony

**2015 Asia Outdoor Products Exhibition Kicks Off in Nanjing with the First Summit Forum** On June 22, 2015, the opening ceremony of the 8th Asia Outdoor Products Exhibition took place in Nanjing, marking the start of a major event that brought together leading outdoor brands and industry professionals. From July 23 to 26, renowned names such as Norseland, Pathfinder, Kaile Stone, Mobier, and more will gather in Nanjing for this year’s exhibition, which is expected to cover 50,000 square meters. By the end of May, over 500 brands had already confirmed their participation. The Asia Outdoor Exhibition was originally inspired by the European Outdoor Show and has grown into a key platform for the Asian outdoor market. Supported by the Nanjing Municipal Government and the German team from Friedrichshafen, the exhibition has seen remarkable growth over the past decade. It has now become the third-largest professional outdoor products exhibition globally, following the European and U.S. Salt Lake City events. Stefan Reisinger, Director of the European Outdoor Show Project, emphasized that the German team will continue to support the Asia Outdoor Show and build on its ten years of success. This year’s exhibition also features a special celebration of its 10th anniversary, with a series of events highlighting brand strength, distribution networks, media influence, and event organization. In addition to showcasing cutting-edge products and technologies, the event includes the first-ever COA Outdoor Summit Forum, taking place alongside the exhibition. The summit brings together leaders from the China Outdoor Brands Alliance (COA) and other key players in the outdoor industry, including Pathfinder’s Sheng Faqiang, Kaile Shi Zhongcheng Cham, Border City Sports’ Huang Huan, Si Kaile Zeng Hua, and Sanfu Outdoor Zhangheng. Retailers, media outlets, clubs, and event organizers will also participate in discussions on topics such as the role of the internet in the outdoor sector, the future of physical retail stores, and the commercialization of outdoor events. The China Outdoor Brand Alliance will also hold a press conference during the exhibition to release the 2014 China Outdoor Market Report. This annual report is compiled through extensive research, including visits to brands, distributors, company reports, industry statistics, online data, and field surveys across the country. The report provides insights into current trends and forecasts for future development in the Chinese outdoor market. Another highlight of this year’s show is the launch of the first Outdoor Club Home. Designed to connect brands, dealers, and clubs, it aims to enhance collaboration and experience sharing. Outdoor clubs, tour operators, competition organizers, and educational institutions focused on self-driving, family, and children's outdoor activities can showcase their services and lines, creating new business opportunities. Since its launch, the Outdoor Club Home has attracted registrations from clubs across China, including those from Xinjiang, Tibet, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Hubei, Beijing, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jilin, and Shanghai. This initiative reflects the growing interest and engagement within the outdoor community. With its global appeal and strong industry presence, the 2015 Asia Outdoor Products Exhibition continues to set the stage for innovation, networking, and growth in the outdoor sector.
