Water transfer technology

The water transfer printing technique is a type of printing in which a transfer printing paper/plastic film with a color pattern is hydrolyzed by water pressure.

There are two types of water transfer technology, one is water mark transfer technology, and the other is water drape transfer technology. The former mainly completes the transfer of text and photo designs, while the latter tends to complete the entire product surface. Transfer. Cubic Transfer uses an aqueous film that dissolves easily in water to carry graphics. Due to the excellent tension of the water drape film, it is easy to wrap around the surface of the product to form a graphic layer, and the surface of the product has a completely different appearance like a paint spray. Drapery transfer technology can apply color patterns to any shape of workpiece to solve the problem of stereoscopic product printing for manufacturers. Curved surface coating can also add different lines on the surface of the product, such as skin texture, wood grain, emerald grain, and marble stone, etc., and can also avoid the often-existing virtual position in the general surface printing. In the printing process, since the surface of the product does not need to be in contact with the printing film, damage to the product surface and its integrity can be avoided.

The water-transfer printing film with special chemical treatment is printed on the surface of water after being printed with the desired color pattern, and the color texture pattern is evenly transferred onto the surface of the product by the action of water pressure. It is automatically dissolved in water, cleaned and dried, and then a transparent protective coating is applied. At this time, the product has shown a completely different visual effect.

Water transfer printing of course has a process flow, first to make water transfer printing paper, according to the required pattern after computer processing to output the negative film printing plate, and then in the water transfer printing paper (after special treatment of good paper no longer need to be processed ) Color pattern printing is performed on the pattern, and the cover oil is printed on the pattern-printed bottom paper. Another method is to use a color laser printer to print the pattern directly onto the water transfer backing paper and then perform the water transfer. Then, the paper is soaked, the printed paper is put into the water, soaked for 30s and then removed from the water, so it can slide. Note that the soaking time should not be too long, otherwise it will dissolve the glue on the paper surface. Then the pattern is transferred, the surface of the object to be transferred is processed, and then the soaked paper is transferred onto it, and the excess moisture is scraped off and dried. Then, he was placed in a dry setting. Items such as metal, ceramics, and glass were placed in an oven and baked at 140°C for 20 minutes. Plastic items were baked at 70°C for 60 minutes. Candles, helmets, or tempered glass were not baked. The final step is to finish the product and spray a transparent varnish on the baked goods surface. After 12 hours of drying, the flowers and the decoration are permanently combined.

This is a process of water transfer technology.
