A French company introduced a new packaging film to the market, which was processed by ordinary PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) (PVC) material. Whether soybean foods such as soybean oil are packaged with this new packaging film are processed from genetically modified soybean raw materials, and even 5%-10% of the genetically modified soybean foods can be identified. The packaging film is mainly used for packaging non-genetically modified soybean products produced in Southern Europe, and is used for tracking and checking whether or not genetically modified soybean raw materials are incorporated during circulation.
