Wooden furniture sampling 11.2% failed
The discovery rate of unqualified products of Guangdong wood furniture products is 11.2%. Most of the problem products have excessive formaldehyde emission, which will seriously affect human health. Yesterday, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau released the latest quality supervision and inspection results of wooden furniture products. In the inspection of the wooden furniture produced by 378 enterprises in the province, including 561 batches of solid wood and panel furniture products, 63 batches were unqualified.
However, the reporter found that in the problem products, the excessive amount of formaldehyde emission is still a dysentery in the wood furniture industry. Among the problems in the sampling test, there are 27 batches of products with this problem, including those produced by Shenzhen Ruixin Furniture Co., Ltd. A bedside table of Credit Suisse and a bedside table of Pinjingxuan brand produced by Pinjingxuan Furniture Factory of Lecong Town, Shunde District, Foshan City all have the above problems. Experts pointed out that formaldehyde is mainly emitted from plate and wall paints and latex paints. People may experience chest tightness and physical fatigue in an environment with 2 times formaldehyde exceeding the standard; in the environment with formaldehyde exceeding 3.5 times, it will induce cell cancer in vivo. .
